Heather Ann Lindquist

Heather Ann Lindquist passed away peacefully at home on Monday, March14, 2022 from pancreatic cancer, cradled in the arms of her husband Rob and their daughter Lauren. Heather was born in Montreal, Canada on April 15, 1947, daughter of John and Joan Williams, who had recently emigrated from the United Kingdom. She spent her elementary and middle-school years in Long Island, New York and attended high school in the San Fernando Valley in Southern California. Heather earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Cal State Northridge in 1972, while working full-time. Similarly, while working full-time, Heather earned her Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern Law School in 1980, graduating third in her class and earning membership in the Law Review. After graduation she practiced with the law firms of Adams, Duque and Hazeltine and McKenna and Cuneo. With the birth of her daughter in 1992, Heather retired from the full-time practice of law, while keeping busy part-time practicing adoption law, serving as temporary in-house counsel, appearing as TV commentator on the OJ Simpson case and participating in various pro bono projects. Heather was pre-deceased by her parents and her siblings Christina, Melvin and Teresa and is survived by her husband Rob and daughter Lauren. A celebration of life for Heather will be held at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church, San Juan Capistrano, on Saturday, April 2 at 11am.
