Leonard John Sequeira, 63, passed away on March 1st, 2022, after an 8-year battle with Early Onset Alzheimer’s Disease. He was born on November 9, 1958 in Quetta, Pakistan to Casmir and Bebiana Sequeira. The family moved to Karachi in 1966. After graduating from St. Patrick's high school and college in 1975 he went on to get a Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering from NED University in 1981. In 1989 he came to the US where he got his Master’s in Engineering from Texas A & M University. In 1986, while still in Karachi, Leonard met Lynette Miranda and they were married in 1988. They have two daughters, Lisa and Liane. Leonard was determined to provide for his family and give them the life they deserved. He was unendingly proud of Lisa and Liane and did his best to support them. Leonard moved to California in 1991 where he started his career in Transportation design. He was passionate about his work and went on to form his own company at one point. Throughout his career he acted as project manager for several freeway projects in Southern California. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening, home improvement projects, watching the latest action movies, and traveling... especially to Hawaii. Leonard was known for his wit and sense of humor, and always had a funny story to recall. He will be greatly missed He is survived by his wife and daughters as well as his brother Fredrick, his sister Mathilda, niece and nephews, sisters and brothers in law. Services will be held at St.Edward the Confessor Church in Dana Point on March 18, 2022 at 11 am with a reception to follow.
