Agustin "Augie" P. Gonzalez, born October 20, 1929, passed away at his home in San Clemente on December 6, 2022. He was born in Sawtelle, CA to his parents Josel Gonzalez and Maria de Jesus Perez and grew up with his five siblings, Francisco, Maxima, Rita, Silvestre, and Felipe.

On February 27, 1965, Agustin married the love of his life, Dora Galindo. Together they had a daughter, Lily. Augie had was very proud of his family. Augie had amazing clarity of mind until the end and had a great sense of humor bring joy to his family. Throughout his life he was very giving and kind man. One of the satisfactions in his life was seeing his grandchildren grow. He enjoyed soccer and visiting family and loved to watch TV shows, his favorite channel being the History Channel. Utilizing the knowledge he gained from watching travel shows, Agustin traveled all across the United States (including Alaska), Mexico, and Europe.

Agustin is survived by his spouse, Dora Gonzalez, his daughter Dora Lilia Peratoner "Lily," son-in-law Sergio Peratoner, grandchildren Erika and Alek Peratoner.

A Viewing and Rosary will be held Friday, December 16, 2022, 10:0am – 11:00am, followed by a Funeral Mass starting at 11:00am – 12noon at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in San Clemente. There is a reception to follow Mass in Church Hall A, at Our Lady of Fatima. The graveside service will be held, Saturday, December 17, 2022, 10:00am at Rose Hills Memorial Park, 3888 Workman Mill Road, Whittier, CA 90601.
