Albert Russell Davison Jr. "Russ", 71, passed away on February 20, 2017, in Irvine, California, where he resided for 42 years. He was born in Cohasset, Massachusetts, on August 19, 1945, to Albert Russell and Vera Dorothy Davison Sr.
Russ received his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at Boston University. He later received his Master's degree at University of Hawaii and his Doctorate degree at University of Southern California. At USC, he was selected as one of three to represent the university in the Journey for Perspective Program which involved the meeting of world leaders as the group traveled to various countries around the world.
Russ was a professor in Business Administration, Economics, and Finance at the University of Hawaii, USC, Cal State Fullerton, and Chapman University. After a successful career, he retired from his financial counseling firm but still continued to advise people in financial matters.
He was a three-time past board president of his homeowners association and current treasurer of the board for the same association.
He loved to read, travel, exercise, eat well, drink wine, and spend time with his family and friends.
Russ was survived by his loving wife of 49 years, son, and daughter.
