Albert Corey Hansen passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, in Laguna Beach, California, on July 27th, 2019 at the age of 76, after an 18-year battle with Parkinson's Disease, fought with courage and dignity.

Corey is survived by his wife, Antoinette Hansen; his children, Craig Hansen and Christine Bentley; his grandchildren, Troy Bentley and Travis Bentley; his stepmother, Sylvia Hansen; his siblings, Sheryl Mandala and Andrew Hansen; his aunt, Irene Hansen; his cousin, Vicki Grace; his nieces, Nicole Mandala and Kelly Mandala; and his nephew, Gen Hansen.

Corey was born on January 3, 1943 in Los Angeles, to Albert Coral Hansen and Esther Martinez Hansen. He graduated from the University of Southern California in 1966 with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Shortly thereafter, he joined the United States Army as a specialist, working on our nation's weapons programs and was honorably discharged in 1969. He had an extensive and flourishing career in commercial real estate where he excelled in brokerage, development, design, construction, and asset management until his retirement in 2010. He enjoyed world travel, contemporary art, a lifelong passion for music and a keen appreciation of science.Corey created second homes in his beloved Sun Valley, Idaho, embracing its beauty for most of his adult life. He is remembered as a generous, charismatic, ambitious, and fun-loving man, revered by his family and friends. He had an enviable and robust optimism for every endeavor. His quiet faith remained steadfast.
