Alfonso Sixtos Gonzalez, born December 16, 1946, in Moroleon, Guanajuato, passed on Saturday, April 1, 2023, in Laguna Hills, CA. Alfonso was lovingly known as Gordo to his wife, Dad to his children and Abuelito to his grandkids. Born to Alfonso and Rosa Sixtos, he was one of eleven siblings. Alfonso moved to California in 1961 at 15 years of age, where he met the love of his life Silvia Maria Garcia. Alfonso and Silvia were married in 1973, and were married for 50 years before his passing.They had four children Miguel Angel, Alfonso, Jesus, and Maria Silvia.

Alfonso is survived by his loving wife Silvia Maria Sixtos, his son Miguel Angel, his son Alfonso, his son Jesus and his daughter Maria Caudillo, Son-in-law Jorge Caudillo, Daughter in law Stacey Sixtos and grandchildren Natalie, Alexis, Anabel, Nathan, Elsi, George, Lilliana, and Alfonso. His twin Artemio, his brother Juan Carlos, his sisters Maria Alejandra and Bertha have passed. He is survived by his brothers Jose Luis (wife Refugio) and Fernando (wife Olga), and sisters Angelita (husband Arturo), Laura, Rosario (husband Miguel), Maria Guadalupe (husband Elias), and Marina (husband Hector). He is also survived by his Brother-in-law's Jesus (wife Marta), Mario (wife Lola), Martin (wife Lola), George (wife Graciela), Ricardo (wife Rozella), Javier, and their families.

Alfonso's greatest pleasure in life was his family. Alfonso enjoyed being husband, father, brother, brother-in-law, and grandfather. He loved to bring his grandchildren Mexican bread.

A viewing scheduled for April 11, 2023, 5:00 p.m. at McCormick and Son Mortuary, 25000 Moulton Parkway, Laguna woods, CA 92637. Mass will be held Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima, 105 N. La Esperanza, San Clemente, CA 92672. Following will be the burial at Ascension Cemetery, 24754 Trabuco Rd., Lake Forest, CA 92630.

Han fallecido su mellizo Artemio, su hermano Juan Carlos, sus hermanas María Alejandra y Bertha. Le sobreviven sus hermanos José Luis (esposa Refugio) y Fernando (esposa Olga), y sus hermanas Angelita (esposo Arturo), Laura, Rosario (esposo Miguel), María Guadalupe (esposo Elías) y Marina (esposo Héctor). También le sobreviven su cuñado Jesús (esposa Marta), Mario (esposa Lola), Martín (esposa Lola), George (esposa Graciela), Ricardo (esposa Rozella), Javier y sus familias.

El mayor placer de Alfonso en la vida era su familia. Alfonso disfrutaba ser esposo, padre, hermano, cuñado y abuelo. Le encantaba llevar pan mexicano a sus nietos.
