Aliakbar Mokarram was born July 2, 1949 in Iran, and passed on Thursday, February 9, 2023 in California at the age of 73. He was one of 6 kids born to Fatemeh and Hasan Mokarram. He married his wife, Nourintaj Pashaeirad in London in 1976 at the age of 27. They have two daughters together, Nazila and Nazanin.

Aliakbar, or Baba Ali as his grandkids called him, was a loving and caring husband, dad, and granddad. He was a mechanical engineer and worked in the engineering field for over 40 years. He is survived by his wife Nourintaj, his daughters, Nazila and Nazanin, his son-in-laws Soheil and Erfan, and his grandchildren Aiden, Soren, Dario, and Arvin.

Aliakbar loved everyone and everything. He was kind and generous, and always helped where he could. Regularly and right up to his death, he donated to charity institutions and unfortunate people and patients in Iran who could not afford to get necessary medical procedures or buy essential medical equipment. He was hardworking and humble. He was optimistic and positive, always seeing the good in people and never complaining about anything. He had a great sense of humor bringing joy to his family and everyone around him. He had a sharp mind and a healthy lifestyle. He enjoyed watching the news, sports, and wildlife documentaries. He loved talking to people, and his family, his kids, and grandkids, were his pride and joy. He lived a full life and always had faith.

Although he passed earlier than expected, he was fortunate enough to see his daughters grow up and succeed in their careers, get married, and have children. He got to spend ample time with his grandkids and immerse them in his rich and unconditional love. He loved to attend his grandchildren's events and enjoyed going hiking and camping with them.

Aliakbar's family will forever cherish the beautiful memories they share with him, and will continue to celebrate and honor his wonderful life and legacy. He will be forever remembered and loved and will be missed immensely.
