Alice Walker Williams Carlson
Alice W. Carlson was born to Alvin and Alice Walker on August 23, 1926, in Littleton, North Carolina.She passed away peacefully at age 92 on March 8, 2019 at her home in Laguna Woods, CA.She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth W. Carlson, who passed away in August, 2018.They had been married nearly 27 years at the time of his death.
Alice is survived by her two daughters, Sharon Alice Miller (Jerome) and Judith Anne Strachan (Greig) as well as three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Alice was a wonderful, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.She loved to dance and play golf, while enjoying a long professional career as Board Secretary for VTN Engineering.Interestingly, Alice was afraid to fly.Yet after settling in California she overcame that fear numerous times to fly across the country with her daughters to visit her relatives on the East Coast.
Alice will be missed and fondly remembered by all.The family wishes that in lieu of flowers donations be made to:
