Ana, affectionately known to family and friends as "Ani," passed away in her home on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at the age of 73. Born in Ramnicu Valcea, Romania, she was the daughter of the late Gheorghe and Nicolita Ceausu. She is survived by her husband, Eugen; her son, Bogdan, and his spouse; her sisters, Clotilda and Viorica; her niece, Violeta, and her family; and her nephew, Serban, and his spouse. Ani studied and practiced civil engineering in Romania before immigrating to the United States in 1985 with her husband and son. She enjoyed baking and taking care of her beloved cats. She was a witty, thoughtful, and loving wife and mother who was always eager to help her friends and family. She will be dearly missed. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 23 at McCormick & Son Mortuaries in Laguna Hills from 9-10 am with a service to immediately follow at 10 am. Burial will be held at noon at El Toro Memorial Park.
