Anne Mary Flanagan passed away on November 14, 2025, at the age of 101 at her home in Laguna Woods, California.

She was the beloved mother of Joseph (Barbara) and Maureen Flanagan, grandmother to Kathleen Falcetti (John), Shannon Gallogly (Saundra), Eileen Flanagan-Lanier (Josh), Theresa O'Boyle (Thomas) and Catherine Gill (Josh) and great grandmother to Gwendolyn and Warren Falcetti, Vivian Flanagan-Lanier, and August and Lachlan O'Boyle.

She was born and grew up in Bacon Cove, Newfoundland. In World War II she worked as a civilian employee at the U.S. Naval Base in Argentia, Newfoundland. In 1946 she came to Brooklyn, New York and lived with her sister there. She wed Joseph T. Flanagan in 1950. She was married to him for 56 years. The family lived in New York City until 1962 when they moved to Los Angeles.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was the heart of our family.

She was pre-deceased by her husband Joseph T. Flanagan and her grandson Joseph R. Flanagan.

There will be a vigil service and Rosary on December 2, 2025, at 7PM at McCormick and Sons in Laguna Hills.

A Funeral Mass will be held on December 3, 2025, at 11 AM at St. Nicholas Church in Laguna Hills.

Interment will be at Good Shephard Cemetery in Huntington Beach.
