Anthony De Monte, born April 16th, 1939 Mola Di Bari Italy, passed away July 14th, 2023 succumbing, after  a valiant fight, to Lung Cancer, July 14th,2023 at home. Tony was lovingly known as Antonio to his family. He is survived by his brother John and sister Ninetta and by a wonderful family of nieces and nephews all loved  and cherished by him..

Tony moved to California in 1981 where he met and married his wife Rosemary. They went on to open 3 renditions of Capriccio Restaurant where he enjoyed creating great food and relationships with his customers-"friends."

He loved to spend all day at the beach. He loved to read and talk about history and  philosophy for hours. He was a kind, generous and loving man.

He was much loved and will be forever missed

A Memorial Service is planned for August in Chicago and a Memorial in California In September.
