Barbara Souad Doumad was born on July 27, 1967 in Tehran, Iran to George and Nazy Doumad. On June 29, 2016, while sleeping, she was called home by God at the age of 48. She is survived by her parents (George & Nazy), siblings (Michael & Betty), daughter Elizabeth and grandson Mikayel.



Although she was a nurse, Barbara found her niche as an outreach counselor and group leader. She worked with troubled youth, people with drug dependency, mentally ill and senior citizens. She was great at her job because she loved and understood people. She related to them and they to her. She loved making a difference in their lives. But of all her achievements she was most proud of her daughter Elizabeth.

Barbara was known for the depth of her heart. Her love and caring was endless and without reservation. She had a heart unmatched by any. When she entered the room she lit it up with her big, bright and beautiful smile. She will truly be missed by all who knew her and her void will be greatly felt by her family.
