Barbara Ann Matthews was born on June 12, 1948 and passed away on August 6, 2016 at the age of 68 in Laguna Hills, CA. She is survived by her husband: Mike; children: Michael and Christine; son-in-law Erick; daughter-in-law: Lai; brother: David; grandchildren: Michael, Noelle, Alia, Arial, Kayla, Kourtney, Aciano, Karson; great grandchild – Rayna Lynn; as well as many nieces and nephews who loved her.

Barbara was born in Gardner, Massachusetts to her parents, Frederic and Elsie Maillet. In 1971 she married her husband, Michael Matthews. Barbara grew up in Gardner, Massachusetts, and later lived in West Covina, Covina, Azusa, Arcadia CA. She was a recent resident of Laguna Hills, CA.

Barbara loved cooking & baking for family and friends. She loved crafting, taking care of her family and shopping for her grandchildren. She was a treasured friend, neighbor and co-worker. She loved creating a feast for everyone on Thanksgiving Day. She will sorely be missed by her friends and family.
