Billie Coletti Morris, age 98, passed away peacefully at home on September 3, 2022, in Dana Point California. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Rear Admiral James H. Morris, US Navy, her ever-beloved son, Mitch Vitek, beloved members of her late husband's family (the Morris Family of Ohio), who also preceded her in death.

Billie loved the Lord, and was an amazing, steadfast friend and a warm ray of sunshine to all loved her. She was a master artist, a brilliant interior designer, had a wonderful sense of humor, spent many wonderful days water skiing on Lake Shasta, and enjoyed a pilot's license in her younger years.

Born in 1924, Billie was a native Californian. She spent most of her life in San Diego, where she worked as a successful interior designer, located close to the US Navy port of San Diego. She was hired to design the Admiral's Quarters of a new Navy ship commanded by Rear Admiral James H. Morris, which blossomed into a beautiful love and marriage until Jim's death. Together, they traveled the world hand and hand, stationed throughout Japan and the USA.

Billie's unconditional love, perpetual sense of humor, and deep care for others will be deeply missed by all who shared in her long, amazing life. To quote her own words, Billie will be "waiting in Heaven for the rest of us, while flying planes and out on heavenly waters with her beloved Jim and Mitchy."

Billie's survivors include her inseparable best friend, Kitty Withers and Family of Dana Point, CA and Dayton, Ohio; Lou Driggs, Jr. and Family of Eaton, Ohio; her dear friend Robert (Bob) Lowell of San Diego, California, her step-daughter, Jami, of northern California - all of whom Billie considered her extended family, among a host of other loved family and friends.

We honor Billie's wishes in foregoing memorial services. Her resting place will be with her loving husband, RADM Jim Morris US Navy, and his loving family, in Dayton, Ohio.
