Brenda was born December 18, 1935 in Watford, Hertfordshire England. Mable and Ernie Seabrook were so happy when their first girl of 9 children was born. Brenda was always very pretty and lady like in her youth and was held in high regard in her family amongst her 8 siblings. She always got good marks in school and shared many cute stories of playing Rounders and Netball with her siblings in the neighborhood of their small council house in Watford.
Brenda's first job out of school was at Sun Printers in Watford where she met her dashing future husband Peter Jones. They were married in August of 1956 and soon after immigrated to Chicago in 1957. They were supported and sponsored by Pete's sister, Iris in Chicago so they had family immediately upon arrival. They lived in the city initially before they eventually bought their first home in Elk Grove Village, Il where they had 2 homes before they moved to Palatine and bought their dream home. After Kristie graduated from college Brenda and Peter moved to California. Dean and Kristie both moved to California after graduating from college. The whole family made California their home.
They met their lifelong friends Cindy and Phil Ballmaier in Chicago and maintained a 60+ year friendship over the many years.
Brenda had 4 children and prided herself on being a great Mom. She was committed to providing her kids with a better life that she had and was super successful in that goal. She was always there for her kids when they were young by being present after school every day and always being at their events. She never missed an opportunity to be there for them
Brenda loved Jesus and was a devout believer for many years. She regularly attended a ladies bible study where she enjoyed many long friendships in fellowship with them and the Lord for at least 30 years. She attended Saddleback Church for 22 years and became a member of Mission Lutheran Church and loved her many years there as well.
Brenda is survived by her children Kevin Jones-Veteran USAF and lives in Virginia ( Son is Jason Jones and Grandson Jason Jones JR.), David Jones lives in Montana, Dean Jones lives in Los Angeles and Kristie Day.
Also, survived by her siblings, Sisters Elsie Glenister (England), Theresa (England), Margaret (Australia), Graham (England) and her youngest sister Linda (England)
Brendas biggest joy later in life was derived by her 3 Grandchildren Jason Jones and his son Jason Jr and Chelsea Day and Logan Day. She spent as much time as she could with her Grandchildren and provided many core memories of a loving Nanny that was also committed to providing them with a grandparent that they'd never forget.
