" You gotta know what you don't know "- Carol Osberg

Carol Ann Osberg was born on December 22, 1942, in Southbridge, MA to her loving parents, Father, Bill and Mother Kitty Ponto.

She passed suddenly and peacefully in her sleep at the age of 79 on Saturday August 6 ,2022, in Laguna Woods, CA.

Carol lived in Massachusetts most of her life. Carol attended and graduated from Southbridge High School. Carol's marriage started with a bang when she married the love of her life Carl Osberg on July 4 ^th at the Dudley Country Club, and this past year the couple celebrated their 60 ^th wedding Anniversary.

Carol prioritized her family, and her family was her pride and joy.  She also enjoyed being social and was a member of the Rotary Club International for many years in Southbridge. Carol worked in the insurance industry for many years she always knew she could make improvements to how people were treated hence the development of her own Insurance agency with her partner, Judy Jager they started the Jager & Osberg Insurance Agency the first all-female owned and operated Insurance company in Massachusetts!

Carol's hobbies included: gardening, walking, thrift shopping and antiquing her early days were spent at the Brimfield Flea Market searching for priceless gems-when one day she was introduced to the song "Thrift Shop" by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. Before our excursions, she would like to for the song to be played to bring good energy to our finds.

Carol loved chatting with neighbors all along the way wherever she was, from Chapin Street, Fisk Hill, Holland and her final spot in Laguna Woods, CA.

Carol is survived by her Spouse: Carl Osberg, Daughter: Carla Partner (Elspeth) Osberg, Grandchildren: Kirsty Carnan, Callum Carnan, Brother-in-Law: Peter Osberg, Sister-in-Law: Barbara Tippet, Niece: Samantha Tippet Rodriguez, Nephew: Rick Rodriguez, They: Mikel Dante Rodriguez, Wyatt Rodriguez, Mia Rodriguez, Marc (Nichole Norman) Rodriguez, Mike (Gerry) Benjamin, Blake (Ken) Meluch, M.L. (Colleen) Benjamin, and children. Bruce (Kate) Corrireau, Chelsea Murray, Christopher Corrireau, Jack Corrireau, Susan (John) Mangano, Jack (Sherry) Jovan, Mark Jovan, and The Jovan Clan! Carol, Ricky, Richard P. Corrireau, Carol (Keith) Corrireau. A host of family and friends.

Carol is proceeded in death by her son: Craig Osberg who transitioned in 2017.

Services for Carol will be held at later date, her Husband Carl and Daughter Carla are planning to scatter the combined ashes of Carol and Craig together at sea.

Carol would like to be remembered by planting a Purple Iris in your garden or somewhere rememberable in remembrance of her life!

Carol was touched by many and touched the lives of many. Over so many wonderful years, with friends, neighbors and family.
