Obituary

Carolyn Catherine Jay was Born in Chicago Illinois September 9th, 1946. To Gilbert and Marie jay. Left us way too soon February 27th, 2024. Carolyn grew up on Kenneth Avenue Enjoying playing in the snow with her dog Rexi going in for a change of clothes while Marie made her hot chocolate. She accepted Christ as her savior and went to church with her family at Kelvin Park presbyterian church. Carloyn was very talented in many ways. She went to school to become a beautician. Carloyn loved to bake, sew and do many other crafts. Carolyn also liked her baseball, especially the Chicago Cubs. Though she had many favorite teams as whoever you were rooting for was who she wanted to win. Carloyn won a cooking contest for her Italian Braciole recipe. Carloyn is also a master quilter and when you're wrapped in her quilt you are wrapped in her LOVE! Carolyn liked to write letters to her friends and family sending countless notes/cards of encouragement when they were needed most. She had a gift for encouraging others. Carloyn LOVED to travel with her parents and her family.  Hawaii and Italy were her favorites. She also enjoyed shark fishing out of Dana Point harbor and loved listening to classical country music. Carolyn was a bookkeeper/accountant. She worked at Hulls construction, CPI services, Pugliese interiors and recently retired from Laguna woods as a leasing specialist where she had so many dear friends. Preceded in death by former husband Jerry (Sue) Hull friend and confidant.  Survived by Son Bill Hull (Billy to Carolyn) wife Tonya. Daughter Marie Hutton. Son Bob Hull. Carolyn has 7 Grandchildren and 3 great Grandchildren. Carolyn was also survived by her sister-in-law Edith (Eydie) Hamilton with whom they adopted each other as sisters for life. Thank you and God bless you. Carolyn will be missed by many. Celebration of life will be held at Foothills Family Church March 16th. Please donate to the American cancer society or any charity of your choice. (no flowers per her request). Special Thanks to her Co-Workers at Laguna Woods, neighbors and all others who held Carolyn Catherine Jay dear to their heart.
