Carroll Loy Walker, born February 2nd, 1939 in Granite Falls, North Carolina, passed peacefully in his sleep on Friday, March 17th, 2023 in Mission Hospital, Mission Viejo, California. Born to Dora Miranda and Woodrow Victor Walker, he has two siblings Yvonne (passed) and Susie Mae Walker Johnson. Carroll moved to California in 1961 after his enlistment in the Navy.  In the mid 1960's, Carroll met the love of his life, Judith Sauhamel. After a courtship of over 3 years, Carroll and Judy were married in 1969 and had two children Michael and Eric.

Carroll worked for Endevco, an electronics design company, from March of 1974 to his retirement in 2004 as an Engineer Designer, Developer, and Supervisor. He is survived by his wife Judith, son Michael, Daughter-in-law Lisa, Son Eric, Daughter in law Gail and grandchildren Emily, Jacob and Lyndsay. His sister Yvonne passed in 1971, and his sister Suzanne and husband Douglas, and his nephew Ronald with Caroline and Jacob.

Carroll's greatest pleasures in life revolved around motorcycles, and his wife, children and grandchildren.  He spent every moment involved in some way with his family, or his second family, his riding partners.  He was often involved in many long distance riding adventures over the years and accumulated a treasure trove of friends over many years of adventures.

With his engineering background, Carroll was fond of tinkering with his bikes, and was well known in his riding circles as having the most modified bike around.

Carroll loved the time spent with friends and family. He was a very generous person with his time and knowledge. Some of his favorite time over the years was spent in his garage helping fellow riding friends out with problems on their bikes.

A Celebration of Carroll's life will be held Wednesday, March 22, 2023, 10:00 a.m. at McCormick and Sons Mortuary, 25002 Moulton Parkway in Laguna Hills, CA, followed by a reception.
