Catherine (Cathy) Escamilla
1957 – 2025

On February 19, 2025, our beloved mother and grandmother, Catherine (Cathy) Escamilla, gained her wings and was reunited with her angels. She was 67 years old.

Born in Tucson, AZ, Cathy moved to Westminster, CA, at a young age. Though Southern California became her home, Tucson always held a special place in her heart. From an early age, she dreamed of building a family of her own, and that dream became her greatest joy. She was the heart of our home, a loving and devoted mother who embraced not only her own children but many others who were lucky enough to call her a second mom.

Cathy was the proud mother of two daughters, Samantha (39) and Alicia (38), whom she raised with unconditional love, guiding them to become strong and independent women. She shared 40 beautiful years of marriage with her husband, Sam, and cherished her role as "Gammie" to her grandson, Jayden (10), treasuring every visit and sleepover with him.

Known for her radiant smile, contagious laughter, and boundless kindness, Cathy brought warmth and joy to everyone around her. She was the heart and soul of our family, and though her presence will be deeply missed, her love and legacy will live on in the lives she touched.
