Cecile (McGarry) Illig passed away peacefully at her home from natural causes in Valley Center, California on October 17th at the age of 92.She was surrounded by her youngest 3 children, her daughter-in law and her caregivers.

Cecile is survived by 8 of her 9 children, their spouses, 20 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Cecile was born in Los Angeles California July 30th, 1926 to Patrick J. McGarry and Cecile Hoffman McGarry.She was the youngest child born to the couple that included three brothers, Emile, Patrick, Thomas and one sister, Alice.

Cecile was married to Richard Velasquez in 1960 until his sudden passing that same year.She later married Joseph F. Illig in 1963 and together they raised their 9 children until his passing in 2011.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 5th, 2018
Rosary and Funeral Mass begins at 10:0 am

Followed by interment at San Fernando Mission Cemetery11160 Stranwood Ave. Mission Hills , CA. 92345
