Charles (Charlie) Leskowicz was 94 years old at the time of his death on March 14, 2015 in Irvine CA from natural causes. He was born in Newark, NJ to Helen and Kasmir Leskowicz. He was the third of eight children and graduated from Nanticoke High School in Nanticoke PA. During World War II he served in the infantry in France and Germany and earned the Combat Infantryman Badge. Charlie was married to Mary (Harubin) Leskowicz. They had four children: Rosemary, Elaine, Thomas (died at birth) and Francis. They lived in King of Prussia Pennsylvania. Charles' wife Mary died in 1992. After the death of Mary he relocated to Irvine CA in 2004. He was a parishioner at St. John Neumann Parish and an active member of the Knights of Columbus where he was a Fourth Degree Knight. He is survived by his three children Rosemary Thompson (Karl), Elaine Cordes (James), and Francis Leskowicz (Suzette). He has six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister Lilian Zardezed and a brother Al Leskowicz. Charles was truly a member of the "Greatest Generation."
