Loving, Generous, and Hardworking are words used to describe Cheryl Joan Bartolini born June 1, 1947, in Jersey City, NJ to her loving parents Joseph and Mary Fecsik.
Cheryl of Laguna Niguel passed at the age of 75 on Wednesday June 29, 2022, in Mission Viejo, California.
Cheryl live grew up in New Jersey with her sister Dolores Swetz. Cheryl attended and graduated from Snyder High School, Jersey City, NJ.
Cheryl was the Co-Founder of El Conejo Mexican Restaurants, Co-Founder of National Gymnastics Training Center and other business ventures. She enjoyed playing cards, walking, cooking, hosting parties, dancing, traveling, and being with family which was her pride and joy. Cheryl was very active with the Pediatric Center Research Foundation, Mission San Juan Capistrano, St. Jude's Research Hospital.
Cheryl was full of joy and laughter. A funny story is when she was mistaken for Shirley MacLaine on the Great Wall of China and posed for pictures with tourists that wanted pictures with her.
Cheryl is survived by her children: Robert (Ela) Bartolini of Laguna Hills, CA, and Lisa (Brian) Rojas of Laguna Niguel. Grandchildren: Justin and Bela Bartolini of Laguna Hills and Mason and Emerson Rojas of Laguna Niguel. Sibling: Dolores Swetz of Wayne, NJ.
Cheryl is proceeded in death by her son Jonathan Bartolini February 16, 2012.
Services for Cheryl will be held July 11, 2022, at St. Edwards the Confessor Catholic Church in Dana Point, CA. Reception to follow at 1pm at El Adobe in San Juan Capistrano, CA.
