Cheryl Catherine Lee passed on March 16, 2017 at Sand Canyon Kaiser Permanente.She was 70 years old at the time of her death. The child of Catherine Waller and Quinten Jensen, Cheryl has one sister, Barbara Otteson. While working as a flight attendant, she met Don Lee. They quickly married - a relationship that lasted until the time of his death on March 13, 2012.

Cheryl is survived by her two sons Eric and David, her daughters in law Catrina and Carolina, her three grandchildren Don, Carissa and Dustin, her sister Barbara Otteson, her brother in law David Otteson and her three nieces Diane, Julie and Cathy, who all called her Aunt Cheri.

During her life, Cheryl was a stay at home mom. She dedicated her life to raising Eric and David. Her children would never want for love or affection, and she enthusiastically attended all of their sporting events, ceremonies and events. She was their greatest cheerleader and source of inspiration- never allowing them to doubt themselves nor their capacity for greatness.

This was a gift that she shared with the world. All who came into contact with her understood her genuine affection and effortless outpouring of love. Unreservedly welcoming many into her heart, she enthusiastically shared their joys and sorrows. Cheryl was a steadfast friend and loyal ally. She was the definition of empathy, and believed in others often when they had given up on themselves.

She loved traveling with her husband Don, making frequent trips and cruises to China, Alaska, Norway and Mexico. Cheryl loved shopping and taking in the scenery on these trips, returning home with postcards and photos of their adventures to share with her children and friends. Her house is still festooned with the keepsakes from these journeys.

Services will be held on Saturday, March 25th,11 am, at Sherman Oaks Lutheran Church (14847 Dickens St, Sherman Oaks). A reception will follow.
