IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Constance
Harrington
July 30, 1941 – May 21, 2022
Constance Harrington, born July 30, 1941 has passed away on Saturday, May 21st,2022 due to her long term battle with Parkinson's and Breast cancer. Constance was a loving mother, grandma and friend. She spent most of her young childhood in Miami Beach, Florida and remembered witnessing the Cuban Missile Crisis as a little girl. She moved to Hollywood, California in her teenage years where she attended Fairfax High School. Constance married Robert Harrington and moved to Diamond Bar in the late 1960's to start their family!
She worked for her parents, Mary and Max Adjmi's business early on…helping in the stores and motel management. Later on, when she had her first child, Richard, she decided to stay home and be a full time mom. Five years later, Michael, was born. She enjoyed bowling as her major hobby and played in many bowling tournaments. Once the boys were older, she decided to go back to work. Being a single mom was not easy and she did the best she could to raise Richard and Michael. However, she found time to be PTA- President and soccer mom for both Michael and Richard's teams. She spent several years as a receptionist for a hair salon and later became a very successful real estate agent. Her very first commission check was spent helping Michael buy his first car!
Connie enjoyed her work and she loved helping to find new homes for new families. She had a close network of friends from the different companies she worked for including Beachside Realty, Blackstone Realty, and Coldwell Banker. She was a devote Christian and enjoyed her parish and friends very much.
She is survived by her son Michael Harrington and his wife, Monica, and their two children, Isabella and Jackson Harrington. She is also survived by her oldest son, Richard Harrington.
Constance's pride and joy was being a Grandma. She was very involved in all aspects of her grandchildren's life! She would attend every event..birthdays, dance recitals, plays, holiday gatherings…anything to spend time with Isabella and Jackson. She once cancelled an open house to attend a dance performance for Isabella! She loved her grandchildren and they always made her smile.
Her greatest pleasure in life was most of all spending time and talking about her grandchildren! A special blanket was made for her that had various photos of the grandchildren and she always had it on her couch!!
Constance loved the time spent with friends and family. She was a very loving mother, grandmother and friend.
