Cynthia Yvonne Bland was born on March 24, 1960 and passed away on October 27, 2016 at the age of 56 in Orange, California. She is survived by her mother: Josephine Bland-Banks of Schertz, TX; as well as her siblings: Emanual Bland Jr. of Maple Valley, WA, Tarita Laughlin of Irvine, CA, Lynette Davis of Casa Grande, AZ, and Damon Bland of Chino Hills, CA; her sister-in-laws Barbara Bland, Daniela Bland, and brother-in-laws Ryan Laughlin and Robert Davis; her nephews and nieces Austin Bland, Matthew Laughlin, Victoria Bland, Erin Laughlin, Aiija Davis, Robert Davis III, Samantha Bland and Nicholas Bland; she also leaves behind her Aunts: Louise Gourley, Vicky Stanton, Joyce Juniel, and Jean Hendricks, and many cousins.

Cynthia was born in St. Louis, Missouri, to her parents, Emanual Bland Sr. and Josephine Bland. With her father being a career military man, her family moved and lived in many states. In 1971 the family moved to California, and eventually settled down in Santa Ana. Cynthia grew up in Santa Ana, and as an adult, she lived in Tustin for many years before moving to Irvine.

Cynthia was a very spiritual soul, and loved God. She adored music, singing and dancing, and was a talented song writer. She was kind and very giving, and was a treasured friend to many. Cynthia took pride in everything she did. She worked several jobs, and lived a very simplistic life, not requiring much to be happy. She will be truly missed by her family and friends.
