Dania Cherí (Redmond) Cunningham was born on March 3, 1970 in the City of Lynwood, CA.Dania grew up in Newport Beach, CA where she graduated from Newport Harbor High School in 1988. She attended Humboldt State University and graduated with honors with a degree in Business Administration and a Minor in Accounting. She met her loving husband while playing co-ed softball in 2002. They married on April 3, 2005, and resided in Aliso Viejo, CA. Their son, Patrick Aidan Cunningham, was born in February of 2013.

Dania was diagnosed with a neurodegenerative disease in January 2014. In November of 2016, due to the aggressive nature of the disease, she was placed in hospice. Dania passed away peacefully at 2 PM on February 25, 2018 at her mother's home, where she was lovingly cared for, surrounded by her family.She was 47.Dania is survived by her husband Brian Cunningham; son Patrick Cunningham; mother Melanie Young; loving caregiver/friend David Scott; brother Jason Redmond; sister-in-law Shannon Redmond; nephew and niece Jameson and Lilah Redmond; mother-in-law Lynn Blalock; brother-in-law Jeff Cunningham; sister-in-law Becky Cunningham; niece Addison Cunningham; aunt Hazel (Bryan) Crivelli and family; dad Richard Redmond and many other family and friends.

Dania was a fun-loving, kind spirited and a gentle hearted person.She loved her family, animals, hiking, peaceful atmosphere and shopping with her Mom.

Dania worked as the Director of Accounting for a prominent Orange County Community Property Management company.

Funeral services and Celebration of Life luncheon will be held on March 24, 2018 from 10am – 1pm, both at McCormick and Son Mortuaries in Laguna Hills, CA.
