Danielle Jean Hoysgaard, born June 21, 1987, in Laguna Beach, California, passed away on October 5, 2026, at Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, California.
Danielle will be remembered as a gifted and creative spirit whose life was shaped by expression, warmth, and heart. She was a dancer, a singer, and a writer, and those artistic gifts reflected the way she moved through the world—with feeling, imagination, and grace. Writing was especially close to Danielle’s heart. She was known as an amazing writer, and among her proudest accomplishments was writing a book, an achievement that speaks to both her talent and her determination to share her voice.
She embraced life with enthusiasm and joy. Danielle loved photography and writing, and she found happiness in cooking and in cheering for the Green Bay Packers and the Dodgers. Those who knew her will remember not only her many interests, but the way she carried herself: kind and thoughtful, funny, full of life, and deeply caring. To those who loved her, Danielle was truly a bright and beautiful presence—an angel in their lives.
Danielle is survived by her loving mother, Rhonda, and her father, Tom. She also leaves behind her aunts Carol, Heidi, Gael, Penny, and Alicia; her uncles Len, Gary, Bill, Lance, and Glenn; and cousins Rick, Hannah, Sevie, Sara, Andrew, Rob, Julie, Jill, Billy, LunYan, John Allison, Michelle, Yutoka, MaryJo, Tommy, Julie, Gerry, Rich, Jan, and Gary Hoeppner. She will be dearly missed by her family and by all who had the privilege of knowing her and sharing in her life.
She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Jean Hoysgaard and Gerda Gustafson; her grandfathers, Carl Hoysgaard and Edgar Gustafson; her aunts Laura, Ingrid, and Mary; her uncles Arnie, Howie, Bob, and Bob; and her cousins Christine Gustafson, Christine Larson, and Sheri Hoeppner. Their memories remained part of the family story that surrounded Danielle throughout her life.
Danielle’s memory will live on in the love she gave, the laughter she inspired, and the words and creativity she leaves behind. She will be remembered with deep affection and lasting gratitude.
Dee Loved the Lord and was a strong believer. She loved reading her Bible and loved Praying for everyone for salvation. She Loved Corinthians 5:8 to be Absent from the Body is to be Present with the Lord. Out family's comfort is knowing, Dee is with the Lord and her family’s.
