Darriel Fredrick Stoewsand
12/10/47-8/19/2015
Darriel passed away on August 19, 2015 unexpectedly due to his lifelong battle of diabetes in Lake Forest. Darriel lived a wonderful life as a devoted husband, brother, father and fun "Pops" to his four grandsons, Andrew, Connor, Joey and Jack.
He will be missed and remembered for his sense of humor, dedication to his family, his love of NASCAR and his 1932 Ford Hot Rod, as well as love for Jimmy Buffett music.
He is preceded by his wife of Lynda Stoewsand, whom he met in middle school, and is survived by his two daughters, TJ Fink, husband Michael (twin grandsons Andrew and Connor) and Shelby Borden, husband Johnny (grandsons Joey and Jack). As well as his brother, Gil Stoewsand, wife Ellen.
A private celebration of life will take place on September 3, 2015 in Newport Beach.
