Obituary

Dave the quiet artist, the comedian, making us buckle over in laughter, barely able to breath. Dave the occasional skeptic and worry wart, granting us a rare few moments to tease him. "Daveman" the kite flier, enthusiast of quirky film, lover of family, friends and animals, we will sorely miss you. Stay with us our friend, but revel in the spectacular journey that is now ahead. May your creative genius pave your way through towering redwoods and red rock slot canyons, along salty shores, where your kite glides playfully in the ocean breeze.

……We Love Ya Man

IN LOVING MEMORY OF DAVE RICHMOND

October 2nd, 1956 – July 24, 2013

Dave left this world far to soon, but not before filling all of our hearts with true undying love and gratitude. He was a free spirit who didn't care for material things.

He wanted only to enjoy this earth with the people he loved. His laughter will resonate with us all, and his love will continue to warm our hearts. Dave is our angel. "Daveman", you will always be with us.

Our precious "Daveman" was born in in Sacramento California and lived in Lake Forest, California before passing away on July 24th, 2013. Dave ( Jonnie-5 ) was a dedicated UPS driver for 33 years. Dave is survived by his wife, Yvette Richmond, his mother, Alexa Richmond, his father & stepmother, Glenn & Suzanne Richmond, his sister, Maya Richmond, and additional family members; Devan, Royce, Kelly, Pete, Rori, Amber, Trieste, Ann, Scott, Gary, Adrian, Greg, Olivia, Helen, Allen, Scott, Blake, and last but certainly not least, Izzy.

A memorial gathering to honor and celebrate Dave's life will be held on August 10th at 1:00PM. Location: 8872 Sapphire St., Westminister, CA. Lunch will be served. Bring your drink of choice, and carpool if possible. In lieu of flowers, please donate to: Animal Welfare Association at www.awanj.org (email: info@awanj.org, phone: (856) 424-2288 ext. )

Note to all:

Dave was taken from us quickly, while enjoying a ride on his motorcycle. It would certainly have been Dave's wish to express his forgiveness to the driver of the other vehicle. He would have wanted to tell her that we all make mistakes. They often happen in the blink of an eye, leaving some of us less fortunate than others. Dave would hope that we all be more careful and aware in the future than we have been in the past.
