David Joel Schulman, 71, of Trabuco Canyon, California died on August 1, 2020 at a nearby hospital in Mission Viejo.Cause of death was complications due to Covid-19. David was born on January 12, 1949 in Queens, New York.
A loving husband to Tammie Moody Schulman, father and proud "Pops", he will be greatly missed by all.He is survived by his four children: Bradley (Shira), Lauren, Nicole and Jessie; and two granddaughters, Morgan and Riley; two brothers, Alan Schulman and Charles Schulman; and his two half-brothers, Robert Karen and Alan Karen.
An avid tennis player on weekends, David spent the last few years of retirement as a high-school tennis coach for boys and girls at two local high schools.Before retiring in 2018, David had a successful career in the financial services industry in various roles.He had achieved tremendous success and was honored with multiple President's Club Top Performer Awards over many years.
While the family is unable to conduct in-person funeral service at this time due to circumstances with Covid-19, they will be gathering for a "celebration of life" ceremony at a later date when it's safe for everyone to be together in-person.
