Dennis Edward Bukenas, resident of Rancho Santa Margarita, California, formerly of Burbank, Illinois, passed away on December 29, 2017 with his wife at his side.

Dennis was born March 14, 1950 in Chicago and was 67 years old when he passed. He is survived by his wife, Janice, daughters Jennifer and Angela, grandchildren Emily, Jonathan, Liam, Lucas and Isabella, and sister Dale. Dennis married Janice in 1972, after meeting in their teens where they both worked at Studio Theatre in Chicago Ridge, Illinois. He went on to work at Chicago Extruded Metals with his father-in-law William Barro.

Upon moving to California, he owned a Lamppost Pizza Restaurant. Upon settling in Rancho Santa Margarita, he worked at Jetline Engineering as an Aerospace Machinist.

Dennis was laid to rest January 8th, 2018 at Ascension Cemetery in Lake Forest, California. This is a day that will be remembered, as it is also the day he married Janice.

It is very difficult to say goodbye to a man who was so loved and admired. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was witty, sharp, and had such a great sense of humor.
