Derek Bowen was born on October 4, 1965 and passed away on September 7, 2015 at the age of 48 in Laguna Niguel, CA. He is survived by his children: Delaney Bowen, and Madison Bowen; as well as his siblings: Drew Bowen, AZ,
Derek was born in Compton, California to his parents, Don and Marsha. In 1999 he married his then wife, Tina Smith. Derek grew up in CA, and later lived in Sacramento, Scottsdale, AZ, and Laguna Niguel, CA. He was a recent resident of Laguna Niguel, CA where he moved in 2014 with his dog Cooper.
Derek loved playing poker, hanging out with his friends, and being in the swimming pool with his girls. Derek was a treasured friend to many. He was a wonderful listener with an equally wonderful sense of humor. Derek loved his children and will be sorely missed by his friends and family.
Per Derek's wishes, his ashes will be scattered in place he loved, the Pacific Ocean.
