Donald B. Clark, a longtime resident of Mission Viejo passed away January 24, 2014 at Hoag Irvine after a brief illness. He was surrounded by family and friends. Don was born in London, England on September 7, 1930.
He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, friend and colleague and enjoyed the company of so many. He is survived by his step children Kim Thomas, Timothy Thomas, Susan Tarney (Jack), two grandchildren Andrew and Michael Thomas and his brother Alan Clark (Martha) and their children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia C. Clark.
He earned his degree in Engineering from the University of Essex (London, England). His very active professional memberships include the Institute for the Advancement of Engineering (Fellow), National Society of Professional Engineers, and the California Society of Professional Engineers. He worked for Casa Herrera Inc. as Chief Engineer and Design Consultant for many, many years and forged lasting friendships with so many of the Herrera family members. He was also proud of his Scottish heritage and enjoyed attending local Clan Cameron events.
Don will be missed for his intelligent conversations as well as his clever, unique sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by all who have loved and known him.
