Donald Malcom Pehkoff of Mission Viejo Ca, 89, made his journey to peace on Sunday, November 24,2013, surrounded by his wife Mary and his four adult children.
Donald was born on August 24, 1924 in Oxnard, California, the only child to Konstantin and Suzanne Pehkoff . He attended Beverly Hills High School and shortly after graduation was called to serve his country in World War II. Upon returning from the war, Donald then went on to earn a BA in English Literature at the University of California at Los Angeles where he met and married Norma Jean Nelson. After graduation, Donald was employed by Ethicon, a division of Johnson and Johnson, as a Sales Representative of surgical supplies to hospitals in California and Arizona. He excelled in his sales career and was often recognized as a top salesman. During this time, Donald and Norma had three children, Dan, Cathleen (AKA Woody) and Nancy.
Donald would later meet and marry Gayle Chase-Nixon and have one child, Jacqueline (aka Jackie).
In 1981, Donald met Mary Ryan with whom he would spend the next 32 years. Together they created a life of love, travel and a thriving business.
In the early morning on Sunday, November, 24, 2013, Donald left us but not without memories that will live on forever.
He is survived by his wife Mary and his children, Dan Pehkoff, Cathleen Hoffman, Nancy Howell, and Jacqueline Pehkoff and his five grandchildren.
