Doris Saunders, Born August 3, 1953 in Morovis, Puerto Rico passed away on Monday March 11 at the Saddleback medical Center. She was a loving Wife, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, and adoptive parent. Born to Jose Vega and Basilisa Gonzales she was a sister to 3 siblings, Elva Morones, Wilfredo Vega (both deceased) and survived by her eldest Sister, Georgina Vega. Doris Moved to California in the 80's after meeting the love of her life, Mark Jefferey Saunders. The two were married for over 30 years before Mark's passing in 2010.

Doris was an entrepreneur who owned and ran her own hair Salon, 'The Hairporter' and cooperatively with her husband, owned and managed successful rental properties. Doris has had several long-standing clients and colleagues, many of which became close friends. Doris had a way of always making you smile even after a disagreement. She was a shoot it to you straight kind of person who was genuine and thoughtful. She was strong and ambitious but also graceful and kindhearted. Doris was elegant and beautiful inside and out but humble and appreciative of the little things in life. She challenged and pushed her loved ones to always do their very best while also leading by example and acting in the same manner.She was and will always be greatly loved and cherished by her family and friends
Doris greatly loved Christ and shared that love with everyone around her. She has been called home and her family and friends will be coming together to celebrate her life and say farewell.
