Dorothy was born on March 21, 1937, in New York, to parents Rocky T (Poppy) and Mary (Nanny). In her early 20s, she met William Foley Sr., and they married a few years later. Together, they raised three children. Nana's devotion to her kids were unmatched. Later in life, they moved to California, where, in her late 50s, Dorothy met the second love of her life, Gary Stevens. The two enjoyed many wonderful adventures and explored the world together, sharing countless memories and spending quality time with their grandchildren.

Nana was a warm, kind-hearted soul, known for her infectious laughter and boundless generosity. She had a deep love for gardening and could often be found tending to her roses and cacti. Her culinary skills were legendary, and she took great joy in preparing Sunday dinners for her family—none of us will ever forget her delicious chicken cutlets. Dorothy was also an avid reader and loved knitting blankets for her grandchildren, leaving behind a legacy of love in every stitch.

Dorothy is survived by her three children and spouses, William II (Veronica), Christine (Will), and Richard, as well as her seven grandchildren: JR, John Paul (Katie), Jake (Riley), Melanie (Dane), William III (Sabrina), Mason, and Nicholas, and one great-grandchild, Jack. She was preceded in heaven by her loving second husband Gary, her parents, and her three sisters, as well as Uncle Charlie, Uncle Rick, cousin Vinny, Mr. Hogan, and many other beloved family members.

A celebration of Dorothy's life will be held on November 30, 2024, at McCormick & Son Mortuaries in Laguna Hills, with a service starting at 2:00 p.m.

We will forever cherish the love, wisdom, and laughter that Nana brought to our lives. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and warmth, and she will be missed but never forgotten.
