Edgar M. (Pete) Gray, 1st Sgt. USMC (Retired), 90 years old died August 4th 2013 of natural causes. A resident of Lake Forest, CA. for 48 years, Edgar was born on December 15th, 1922 in Lyons Kansas to Anna Laura (Dilly) Gray and Lawrence Fremont Gray. He had 4 brothers, Howard, Elive, Lawrence Jr. and Wayne. Edgar attended and graduated from Lyons High School. He then enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1942 and served in active duty until his retirement in 1967. Edgar was married to Aranelle Brown Gray in 1946 and had 3 children, Linda K. Gray (Shuffler), Howard D. Gray and Edgar M. Gray Jr., 6 grandchildren, Dawn Warehan-Sittner, Raphael McGrew, Kay Spillman, Joshua Gray, Bethanne Shuffler and Peter Shuffler, 10 great grand children. Edgar will be interned with his wife Aranelle at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside California
