Elaine Claire Wolbrink was born August 17, 1924, in Chicago, Illinois, to Henry George Mack and Alma Marie Olberg. She passed peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, December 18, 2022, in Mission Viejo, CA, at the age of 98.  Elaine met the love of her life, Wilbur Henry Wolbrink, in Chicago, Ill. They were married September 30, 1949. Wilbur and Elaine moved to Phoenix, Arizona. Shortly after their marriage, they had two children, Larry and Robert.

In 1965, the family relocated to Southern California.  Elaine enjoyed helping other people, and taking care of the family and household.  She always enjoyed crafts, and spent time sewing clothes for the family and relatives. Wilbur and Elaine purchased a new home in Mission Viejo, California, in 1968. The family moved in on Elaine's 44 ^th birthday.  She lived in the same home for 54 years, and was the resident expert of her neighborhood.

In the mid-80's, Elaine discovered her unique artistic talent for painting with acrylics. She joined a local painting club, and specialized in seascape and landscape subjects.  Elaine thoroughly enjoyed artwork, and was able to sell her paintings at local art shows.

After 44 years of marriage, Elaine lost Wilbur to cancer.  She is survived by her sons Larry and Robert, Daughter-in-Law Barbara, Granddaughters Kristen and Katie, and Great Grandson Ethan. She is also survived by Nieces Nancy, Debbie, Marie, and Linda.

Elaine was always an Angel, taking priority to help family and friends.  She always had unlimited time for anyone in need.

Services will be held January 13, 2023, at 12:00 Noon, at El Toro Memorial Park, in Lake Forest, CA.  Elaine will be laid to rest with her loving husband Wilbur.
