In Loving Memory of Elisa Hernandez

Elisa Hernandez, age 82, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 27th. She was a longtime resident of the Laguna Woods community.

Elisa was a loving mother who cherished her family above all else. She found her greatest happiness in being surrounded by the people she loved and treasured the time spent together creating memories.

She loved working in her garden, caring for her plants and enjoying the beauty of nature. Elisa was an extraordinary cook with the skill, creativity, and instinct of a professional chef. She had a remarkable gift for bringing traditional dishes to life, preparing each one with care and love. Also, she enjoyed traveling the world which included Mexico, Europe, China, Isreal as well as all over the United States. When not traveling she loved taking car rides, finding joy in seeing new places and simply enjoying the journey.

Elisa is lovingly remembered by her children, Diana, Michelle, Anthony, and Robert; her son-in-law, Hugo; her daughter-in-law, Denise; her grandchildren, Eryka, Gil (grandson-in-law), George, Erin (granddaughter-in-law), Josh, Sophia, Landon, Ellie, and Averie; and her great-grandchildren, Gabriella and Thalia.

Family was one of the greatest joys of Elisa's life, and she leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will be treasured by those who knew and loved her.

Her love, warmth, and gentle spirit will remain in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
