IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Elisea Aquino
Bayle
April 11, 1930 – July 1, 2025
Elisea "Ely" Bayle, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 95. Born on April 11, 1930, in Mangaldan, Pangasinan, Philippines, Ely lived a rich, full life marked by love, creativity, faith, and deep connection to those around her.
Ely graduated from the University of the Philippines with a degree in Pharmacy, where she also met the love of her life, Pedro "Pete" Bayle. She married him at the age of 23, and together they built a life centered around devotion to family and each other. They raised seven children—Joy, Wylma, Annabelle, Gynna, Hubert, Wein, and Haroldd—teaching them through example what it means to live with purpose, strength, and joy.
Ely was endlessly creative. Whether she was arranging flowers, designing and sewing wedding gowns, tending to her succulents, or playing the organ, she approached everything she did with care and passion. She was always eager to put her skills to use especially when it meant helping or mentoring someone. She made friends everywhere she went, regardless of age or background, and cherished hours-long conversations filled with laughter, stories, and connection. She maintained lifelong connections with her school and work friends—and, in time, with their children as well—an enduring testament to the deep bonds she nurtured throughout her life. Many have said "it feels like losing a mom all over again" —because she really was like a mother to so many.
Her faith was a cornerstone of her life. It grounded her spirit and shaped the way she lived—with compassion, resilience, and gratitude. She carried that faith into her roles as mother, friend, and grandmother.
Ely was the proud grandmother of Jonathan, Justin, Joseph, Cami, Aidan, and Jaden, and great-grandmother to Xander and Kailey—each of whom brought her immense pride and joy. Her legacy lives on in them, in the values she passed down, and in the love she gave so freely.
Ely leaves behind a family who loved her and a wide circle of friends and relatives who will never forget her laughter, strength, and generous heart.
