Our beloved Elizabeth Abraham, also known to many in the Indian community as Kunjumol, born June 20,1945 in Kerala, India went to be with our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, November 27, 2025 in her San Clemente home. Born to KG Philipose and Saramma Philipose, she has four siblings; Sosamma Varughese also known as Kunjamma (deceased), George Philip also known as Kunjumon, Mariamma Samuel also known as Molly, and Saramma Thomas also known as Valsa.

Shortly after her 1968 nursing school graduation in Bombay India she married Matthew Abraham in Bombay, India in 1969. Leena Abraham their first born in Bombay, India. In 1972 Elizabeth Abraham accepted an offer to work in the United States of America and the family joined her a few months later immigrating to USA in 1973.

Elizabeth continued to work and further her nursing ambitions to become an RN and gave birth to Lisa Abraham their second child born in Norwalk, CA and their last child, Lance Abraham born in Santa Ana, CA.

She dedicated her life in serving others as a caring and compassionate nurse for over 40 years. She was recognized many times throughout her career with service awards in how she took time and care possessing a high level of skills towards her patients, while training fellow staff as a RN later in her nursing career.

Her love of music and the arts was something she cherished whether it was an English, American or an Indian movie, show, or musical production. Mom's Southern Kerala style cooking along with Matthew's cooking skills was known to many in her surrounding communities and in her workplaces as she and Matthew welcomed, hosted, and shared many of their delicious array of Indian dishes with others. Her genuine love, sharing and kindness was evident and warmly received by those who knew her. She always took time for all those who knew her and never hesitated to help when she could.

Elizabeth is survived by her spouse, Matthew Abraham (Avarachen), children Leena Gray & Dennis J. Gray, Lisa Muttathil & Jomy Muttathil Lance Abraham & Michelle Abraham, and grandchildren Alex Gray, Matthew Muttathil Joshua Abraham and Andrew Abraham.

Services will be on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. at McCormick & Son Mortuaries, 25002 Moulton Pkwy Laguna Hills, CA 92637.
