Elizabeth R. Vidal

Born March 6, 1937 sadly passed away November 27, 2024.

Elizabeth was the eldest daughter of Jose B. Roxas and Venancia and was born in the Philippines. Born in the Roxas family with eight children, her passing leaves behind her brothers and sisters who remain; Manuel B. Roxas (Manning), Jose B. Roxas Jr. (Boy), Ester R. Regalado, Estrella (Thea) Feliciano, and her youngest sister Maria Fitzgerald (Ninning). A great beauty known to adorn parade floats, Elizabeth graduated from the University of Manila in Business, and worked in the family business the Roxas Electric Company in Quiapo, Manila.

Elizabeth was both loving and kind, intensely loyal to family, and leaves behind a loving husband, Romulo J. Vidal, whose naval career she adapted to and she also leaves behind her children, Liz Mahoney and Michael Vidal. Elizabeth kept her life simple ... other from work she focused her love in life on "friends and family." She enjoyed the many cousins, nieces, and nephews, that relatives would provide ... also their pets, it made her happy. As did her 65 year marriage to her husband, Romulo - he was really the center of her universe. That was my mom....

In loving remembrance of Elizabeth, we humbly invite you to attend on Sunday, December 29th at McCormick & son Mortuaries located at 25000 Moulton Parkway, Laguna Hills, CA 92653. It will begin with a homage to her at 11AM, followed by the service at 11:30AM and ending by 12:30PM. All attendees are then provided with the banquet hall information to furthur honor Elizabeth by dining for lunch at on of her favorite eating establishments in celebration and fellowship of her passing.
