Good morning, my name is Michael May. I am the oldest of 5 brothers and was born during WWII to Velma Balogh May and Cyril Robertson May. Gil was the third child, born in 1948. We did not have an easy childhood but we all served in the military, furthered our education, and became productive members of society. Two of us were on the east coast and two on the west coast. My family and I settled in the middle – in Colorado.

After his honorable discharge from the U.S. Marine Corps, Gil remained in California. There he attended law school and began his own very successful law practice. He remained in practice for 43 years.

Three brothers remain. Our brother Tony passed away in 2011. Fred and I, with our families, are here today to celebrate Gil's life.
