Ernest Cruz Luna, born July 22nd, 1973, son to Cruz and Martha Luna, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep during the early morning of June 16th, 2021.

He was known as "Ernie" to most. Father to Vida and loving husband to Ruby. (passed)

Ernie was the middle child and sibling to his sister Sandra and brother Adrian. From the time he was 6 years old, Ernie and his family lived in Lake Forest, California. It was there he would grow up to love the California Coast. Going to the beach was his favorite past time as a kid. He would spend countless summer days at the beach and it was there he created many loving and happy memories with his family.

He eventually met the love of his life Ruby Gutierrez and married her soon after welcoming the birth of their beautiful daughter Vida Alexandria Luna; born on October 24, 2013. Vida became their greatest pride and joy.
Ernest was a devoted father and husband and he will forever be missed and remembered.

A memorial service will be held on July 24, 2021, at St. Nicholas Church in Laguna Woods at 1:30pm. Visitation will precede on July 23, 2021, at Mc Cormick & Sons Mortuary in Laguna Hills from 4pm-8pm.
