Errol Crones, born July 7, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois, passed away the evening of Saturday, June 15, 2024.  Born to Francis (Bud) and Maybelle (Mabel) Crones, Errol had two siblings.  Francis (Fran) of Las Vegas, Nevada and Sandra (Sandy) Wagner who is married to Paul Wagner of Scottsdale, Arizona.

Errol was married for 57 years to the love of his life Joy Susan. They were married and lived in Chicago Ridge, Illinois where they had a son.  In 1974, the happy family set off for California where they settled.  Their son later married to a wonderful wife and they had two children.

Throughout their life, Errol and Susan traveled to many parts of the world, which included many cruises.  Later in life, their favorite vacations were those taken with their son, daughter in law, and grandchildren.  The three generation vacations included Aulani, Hawaii, the Grand Canyon, and a couple of cruises.

Susan loved all things Disney, including Disneyland.  Errol and Susan owned Annual Passes for many years.  They often gifted their grandchildren at Christmas with Annual Passes ,and they all spent many wonderful weekends at the happiest place on earth.

California presented Errol with the opportunity to pursue his love of cars.  His knowledge of all things transportation related was phenomenal.  In his earlier years, he loved motorcycles.  He owned more cars and motorcycles in his lifetime than anyone could count.

A service will be held Saturday, June 29 at 2:00 PM at McCormick and Son Mortuary, 25002 Moulton Parkway, Laguna Hills, California 92637.  All are invited.

Errol will be laid to rest on Monday, July 1, 2024 at 1:15 PM at the National Military Cemetery in Miramar, California.
