Esther (Schotter) Balch, born March,1932, was a New York City native with four brothers and one sister, now all deceased
She moved to the Los Angeles area with her mother and brother in the early 1950s
She worked as a secretary for many years, living in Hollywood, then married Arthur Balch, when she then moved to Beverly Hills
In her later years, she relocated to Laguna Woods with her friend Mary, and remained there, making friends with many in that community
She supported animal rescue groups and donated blood regularly, and was interested in holistic health and "new age" subjects.She was a wonderful cook and loved to treat everyone to her home cooked meals
Esther leaves behind 30+ nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and nephews, and friends old and new
She will be remembered by many for her great sense of humor, her friendly and generous nature, and her New York accent, which remained with her all these years !❤️
