Eva Folan, 68, of Mission Viejo, CA, passed away on June 25th, 2016, surrounded by family and her loving husband, Michael.
Eva was born the youngest of six, on July 30th, 1947, in New Hampton, MO, to Arthur & Eva Dannar. Her family later moved to Stanberry, MO, where she graduated from high school.
After moving to Irvine, CA, around 1978, she worked for Greentree Elementary School. After graduating from cosmetology school, she devoted over 40 years to the profession she loved, amassing a lifetime of customers and friends.
In 1985, Eva met the love of her life, Michael Folan, a straight off the boat Irish man. They enjoyed a wonderful life together, and would have celebrated their 29th anniversary this July.
Eva is survived by her husband, Michael, as well as her sisters, Zonell and Marilyn (Harold), and brothers, Ivan (Linda) and Franklin (Dee). She was preceded in death by her brother Charlie. She is also survived by her sons, Ricky, of Bakersfield, and Shane of Flagstaff, AZ. Eva was blessed with three granddaughters, Elisa, Amy & Hannah, as well as three great-grandchildren, Samuel, Carolyn and William.
A celebration of her life will be held in her and Michael's home in Mission Viejo, on Friday, July 1st, from 2:00pm – 5:00pm.
