Adler, Florence born on January 19,1919 passed away peacefully at her home in Laguna Woods, California on August 31, 2014 at the age of 95. Florence goes to join her beloved husband of 45 years, Kurt Moritz Adler, who passed away in 1990. She is survived by her three children, Catherine Ford, Barbara Luke and Robert Adler. Florence was also blessed with five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Florence was born on Parkstone, Dorset, England, the daughter of Paul Rocholl and Mildred Mershon. She spent her early childhood in England. Following the death of her father, Florence and her sister, Evelyn were brought up by their uncle and aunt, William and Helen Rocholl. When Florence was fourteen, the family moved to Mexico City, where she eventually married and raised her family.

In 1983, Florence and Kurt moved to McAllen, Texas, where Kurt passed away in 1990. In 1992, Florence moved to Laguna Woods to be closer to her son and his family. She was an active member of Leisure World's knitting club, and knit various items for military families in El Toro and Oceanside.

Private services will be held on September 5, 2014 at the McCormick & Son Mortuary at 3:00 p.m. A further memorial will be held at Christ Church in Mexico City in 2015, at which time her remains will be disposed at the British Cemetery.
