Frank John Bartolini age 78, of San Juan Capistrano, CA transitioned on April 11, 2023, at his home.

Frank was born May 9, 1944, in Ostra, Italy to Arduino and Anita Bartolini. Frank siblings included Valdemara Lemig, Silva Burns, and George Bartolini.

Frank married Cheryl Bartolini in New Jersey 1969- 2000 and married Monica Bartolini 2004-2015.

Frank was a Captain in the Air Force.

Frank was the Co-Founder of El Conejo Mexican Restaurants, Co-Founder of National Gymnastics Training Center and other business adventures such as sober living houses.

Frank lived in Italy, New Jersey, Texas, and lastly California. He enjoyed flying planes, scuba diving, sailing, snowboarding, and loved biking- riding, art, and adventure.

Frank was a successful businessman, loving father, grandfather, awarded the distinguished flying cross for bravery, or flying missions, and saving many lives in Vietnam. He used to build hang gliders and launch himself off cliffs, sometimes crashing, sometimes successfully gliding. He lived by his own set of rules and had an extreme amount of love to give.

Frank is survived by children: Robert (Ela) Bartolini Laguna Hills, CA, and Lisa (Brian) Rojas of Laguna Niguel, CA. Grandchildren: Justin & Bela Bartolini of Laguna Hills, CA and Mason & Emerson Rojas of Laguna Niguel, CA. Siblings: Valdemara Lemig, Silva Burns, and George Bartolini
