Obituary

Frank Albert Warsinski was born on July 14, 1921 in Port Huron, Michigan as the fourth of seven children to Frank and Martha Warsinski. Here he was baptized, educated, and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church and School. He graduated from Port Huron High School and shortly after started working for Mueller Brass. When World War II broke out, he served in the United States Army stationed in England and France. When he returned, Frank met Vernita Arlene Hausburg at Fanny Farmer's Candy Store. They were happily married on April 26, 1947 at Trinity Lutheran Church. Early in their 70 years of marriage, God blessed them with three sons, Thomas, David, and Ricky.

After living in Michigan all their lives, in 1956, Frank and the family made a drastic change moving to Tucson, Arizona where Frank worked for Hughes Aircraft. Here the family attended Faith Lutheran Church and Fountain of Life Lutheran Church until 1964 when Frank and the family moved to Whittier, California where Frank worked again for Mueller Brass. In Whittier, they joined Hope Lutheran Church worshipping there for many years. While attending these four churches, Frank served the Lord as an usher for church and funeral services for 50 years. When he retired, he participated in the Senior Bible class and Braille Bible Translators.

As years passed, Frank and Vernita became members of Christ Lutheran Church in Brea where they joined the Sunday Bible class and Senior Bible class. Frank also loved going to the Brea Senior Center where he participated in numerous programs including exercise classes. In 2004, Frank and Vernita moved one more time to Laguna Woods, California where they joined Abiding Savior Lutheran Church in Lake Forest. In Laguna Woods, Frank loved attending American Legion dinners.

Frank loved spending time with family and friends including his brothers and sisters, thoroughly enjoying life.Time spent with his children, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren was truly cherished.Anyone who knew Frank knew of his love for his Country.His vivid memory of time spent in the US Army during World War II was shared with many and remembered by all.Despite being legally blind for the last several years of his life Frank lived a full life and one that most people with his limitations would not have dreamed of.Frank credits the Lord for his perseverance. Throughout his life Frank enjoyed different hobbies including:creating manger sets, wood and tile clocks, tile trivets, kitchen wood accessories, and Christmas ornaments; reading the newspaper, and watching baseball games. His favorite activities included visiting Disneyland, Sea World, Solvang, Tucson, Arizona, and Washington DC.Frank and Vernita also traveled to many locations throughout the United States.

Frank was called to his eternal home in Mission Viejo, California on June 7, 2018 at the age of ninety-six years. He is survived by his three sons Thomas, David and his wife, Joanne, and Ricky and his wife, Linda; and seven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

Services will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Christ Lutheran Church, 820 W Imperial Highway, Brea California.
